At Wellington, we want everyone to feel seen, known, and valued. Through a wide range of gatherings and activities, we create space for real friendships to grow and for lives to be shared.

We believe faith is a journey – a journey that every member is on. Through relaxed gatherings, small groups, and helpful resources, we’re here to support you as you explore what it means to follow Jesus.

Crèche (0 – 2½Yrs)

For all children from 0 to 2½. Feel free to leave your children in before, or anytime during the Sunday morning Church Service. Sign your child in, and then leave them with our experienced team in our soft play area.

Tots Zone

(2½ - Pre-School) Sunday School. Children leave Church during the Morning Service after the weekly Children’s Slot. TotsZone is a safe and fun environment where your kids can enjoy stories, singing, crafts and colouring in.

The Well

P1-P7 Sunday School. Children leave Church during the Morning Service after the weekly Children’s Slot. The Well is a great place for kids to learn more about God’s Word through singing, stories & crafts in a relaxed environment.

Girls’ Brigade

GB meets every Monday evening. The Explorers (3 years old by 1st July) meet from 6:30pm-7:30pm. The Company Section (up to 18 years) meet from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Girls learn about God, and also enjoy games, craft & learn new skills.

Tots +Co

For Babies to Pre-school. During term time meets every Wednesday from 10:00am-11:30am. While carers meet new friends and build relationships, children can enjoy singing, craft, painting and play activities.

Boys’ Brigade

BB meets every Thursday evening to enjoy games, crafts and Bible teaching. The Anchor Boys (P1-P4) meet from 6:45pm-7:45pm, the Junior Section (P5-P7), from 7:00pm-8:30pm and the Company Section (Year 8+) from 8:00pm-10:00pm

ASK Club (SEN)

ASK Club helps to support and assist families who have a child or young person with any form of disability or additional, physical, social, developmental or special educational need. Meets monthly on a Friday from 6.30 to 8pm in Cafe Aroma.

Mums Bible Study

We meet alternate Friday mornings in the Prayer Room at 9.30am. An opportunity to join other Mum’s to read and study the Bible together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Mens Fellowship

Open to men of any age, the Men’s Fellowship meets on Tuesday evenings in the Church Hall from 7:30pm-10:00pm for a game of bowls, recreation and fellowship, as well as a short epilogue at the end of each evening.

Women At Wellington

Women @ Wellington meet once a month on Tuesday evenings at 7.45pm in Cafe Aroma. Come along to hear speakers on a variety of subjects as well as enjoying a night of fellowship together.

Sew Crafty

Women with a creative flair meet fortnightly on Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm in the Church Hall for a wide range of craft activities in support of other ministries.

Wednesday Fellowship

The Wednesday Fellowship meets every other Wednesday from 2:30pm-3:45pm in the Church Hall. Come to enjoy fellowship, share a cuppa, to laugh and to listen to interesting speakers within a Christian environment.

Life Groups

Life Groups are simply small groups of people who meet on alternate weeks to do life together and study God’s Word. There are various Life Groups - some meet in individual houses and some within the Church building.

Choir

Open to anyone, of any age with any or no singing experience, the Choir meets on a Thursday from 7:30pm-9:00pm in the Wellington Room. All that’s needed is a love for the Saviour and a desire to praise and worship Him through song.

The Situation Room

The Situation Room is a Bible Study for men which meets monthly on a Tuesday night from 7.30pm to 10pm in the Wellington Room. This is an opportunity for men to dive into what God's word has to say about the world we live in today.

Womens Bible Study

Meets alternate Thursday mornings in the Library Room at 10.30am. Join a small group of women to read and study the Bible together in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Hope Explored

Hope Explored is a short three session course to introduce and discuss core Christian themes. This usually runs twice a year - after Christmas and Easter. It is advertised on our church website and social media closer to the time.

Circuit Training

Circuit Training takes place in the Church Sports Hall every Tuesday night from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Get moving, build strength, improve your overall stamina and have fun. Open to all levels of fitness. Small charge of £2/week.

Kettle Bells

Kettle Bells takes place in the Church Sports Hall every Friday night from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Various kettlebell exercises to improve fitness & boost confidence. Open to all levels of fitness. Small charge of £2/week.

Badminton

We meet each Tuesday evening from 8pm to 10pm in the Sports Hall. We welcome all ages from Yr8 upwards. All skill levels, including beginners. It’s a great way to stay active, improve technique as well as make new friends. Small charge of £2/week (£1 for under 18’s).

The Net

The Net is the place to meet to play pool, Playstation, football or just chill out with friends. There will also be guest speakers covering issues that young people face today, as well as special events throughout the year. Attendees must register beforehand.

Collective

Collective Fellowship is a community of young people in Year 8-14. We meet together every Sunday evening in Cafe Aroma from 6.30pm to 8pm to share life together, and grow through worship and reading of His Word .

Collective Small Groups

Collective Small Groups is a Bible study for all young people in year 8 – 14. We get together each week to take a deep-dive into God’s word. It’s an amazing opportunity to spend time reading and studying the Bible together and really getting to know God through what He says in His Word and learning how we can live that out each and every day in our own lives.

Midweek Meeting

Enjoy our Bi-weekly Bible Study on Wednesdays at 8pm in the Wellington Room. Learn from the Bible in a relevant and practical way. Delve deeper into God’s Word and see how we can apply it to our everyday lives.

Sunday Service

We meet each Sunday at 10.30am and 6.30pm.. We aim to honour Him by faithful Bible teaching, learning in a relevant and practical way and gathering in fellowship together to encourage each other.

Prayer Gatherings

We’d love you to join us throughout the week for prayer. We have a number of gatherings that give us the opportunity to come together and pray collectively for our church.

HELP

Hope, Encouragement, Love & Prayer support for those who are dealing with illness. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 10:30am-11:30am in Cafe Aroma. An informal meeting with complete confidentiality.

Re-Story

Our Church Furniture Ministry to show the love of Jesus to others. We receive, restore and redistribute furniture items. Furniture items to donate? Contact us to check what the current needs are.

Helping Hand Food Ministry

Our Food Ministry to meet a need and provide a “helping hand” to those who find it tough at a particular point in time. We aim to show the love and compassion of Jesus in a practical way.
