Choir

Choir meets each Thursday night from 7:30 to 9pm from September through to Easter.

Choir is open to all ages from Secondary school age upwards and everyone is so welcome – even if you don’t call yourself a singer! We are a real family of believers who love to worship in our singing but who also share life, often supporting each other in various ways.

Although we meet to prepare for Harvest, Christmas and Easter Church services, it is our aim as we meet each week that these are not just rehearsals but they are opportunities to think about the words we are using to worship God. We spend time at the start of each night thinking about what God is revealing to us from His Word and from the songs we are learning so that when we come to minister to the congregation and lead them, they too sense the power of Lord’s presence with us in our various circumstances, lifting our heads and our hearts to Him.

We believe God’s creation of music and song is a gift to us to powerfully bless others and glorify Him, and when we sing together it solidifies our unity as His church.
